Road Closure On Middle Road In Warwick

The Ministry of Public Works advises the public of a “road closure on Middle Road in Warwick, near St Anthony’s Church, effective Monday, 22 June 2026, during weekday working hours from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.”

A Government spokesperson said, “ The closure will impact the section of road extending from just east of St Anthony’s Church to the entrance of Tatem School. This closure is necessary to facilitate emergency road paving works to improve the condition and safety of the roadway.

“Motorists should expect detours, with eastbound traffic routed via Burnt House Hill and Harbour Road, and westbound via Tamarind Vale and Harbour Road. Access will be maintained for residents and buses. Motorists are advised to proceed with caution and allow extra travel time.”
