Smith & Dailey Win Grateful Miles 5K Classic
Sanchez Smith and Christine Dailey won the Grateful Miles 5K Classic this weekend.
In the men’s division, Smith secured first place with a time of 17 minutes and 7 seconds, finishing 30 seconds ahead of his closest competitor. Oliver Brunnock took second place in 17:37, followed by Domico Watson in third place with a time of 18:41.
In the women’s division, Dailey finished fourth overall to claim the title in 19:55. She established a 1-minute and 16-second lead over the second-place female finisher, Evelyn Fahy, who placed in the top 10 overall with a time of 21:11. Lynsey Palmer finished third among the female competitors and 23rd overall, crossing the line in 22:27.
