Somerset Trojans Win U23 Football Title
Somerset Trojans secured the U23 league championship title following a 3-1 victory over Dandy Town Hornets, driven by a two-goal performance from Kymani McNeil.
The Trojans established an early lead as McNeil opened the scoring in the 22nd minute and scored again in the 32nd minute to give Somerset a 2-0 lead at halftime.
Dandy Town increased their attacking presence early in the second half, but Somerset extended their lead in the 56th minute, as Johnny Brangman made the score 3-0.
The Hornets responded in the 74th minute when Benjamin Osset scored to bring the deficit to two goals, however Somerset held on to claim the victory.
