Vice Admiral Hann To Address Convergence
Registration is now open for Convergence 2026, with organisers announcing former NOAA Deputy Under Secretary for Operations Vice Admiral Nancy Hann as the keynote speaker for the Bermuda-based insurance-linked securities conference this October.
A spokesperson said, “Registration is now open for Convergence 2026, the leading gathering of the global insurance-linked securities [ILS], alternative reinsurance and convergence community, taking place October 12–14, 2026 at the Hamilton Princess Hotel & Beach Club in Bermuda.
“As planning continues for the event’s 2026 edition, organisers have also announced its keynote speaker, Vice Admiral Nancy Hann, former Deputy Under Secretary for Operations at NOAA.
“Widely recognised for her leadership in some of the world’s most complex operational environments, Vice Admiral Hann previously commanded NOAA’s Aircraft Operations Center in Florida, home to the renowned Hurricane Hunters, whose aircraft fly directly into severe storms to collect critical weather data. Her keynote address will explore the intersection of science, leadership, risk and decision-making in increasingly uncertain environments.
“Convergence has established itself as the premier forum for bringing together investors, fund managers, issuers, reinsurers, brokers, service providers and regulators involved in the transfer of risk to the capital markets. Each year, the event attracts senior decision-makers from across the global marketplace to discuss emerging trends, market developments and the future evolution of the asset class.”
