A spokesperson said, “The Lumina Festival is pleased to announce that its second annual Financial Literacy Summit has been approved for six hours of Continuing Professional Development [CPD] credit by CPA Bermuda. The full day of programming, from the opening keynote through the final afternoon workshop block, qualifies toward the credit.”
“We are excited to support the Lumina Festival’s Financial Literacy Summit.” Jozelle Opoku, President & CEO of CPA Bermuda, said “It is a much-needed forum that brings financial literacy to life in a way that is engaging, accessible and culturally relevant, particularly for important segments of our community.”
“This is a full day built for professionals, entrepreneurs, creatives, anyone who wants more than just information, but tools they can actually use,” Zach Wilson, Founder and CEO at The Lumina Festival, said. “Having the day recognized for CPD credit means employers can send their teams to engage with practical, Bermuda-specific content and fulfill their professional development requirements at the same time.”
The spokesperson said, “The Summit will take place on Friday, Sept. 25 from 8:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the National Museum of Bermuda, with the Networking Happy Hour sponsored by CG Insurance running from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Alongside morning panel discussions and keynote interviews, the day includes a wide range of breakout workshops, among them Building a Generational Wealth Plan with Neville Grant, Beyond the Hype: How Digital Assets Are Changing Finance and Why Bermuda Matters with Jalen Smith, CAMS, and Ownership of Value: A Strategic Framework for Advancement and Influence with Deshay Caines.
