Actin’ Up! Theatre Camp is celebrating its fifth anniversary this summer with a production of Dare to Dream, “a spectacular Disney musical revue showcasing the incredible talent of campers aged 9 to 16.”

A spokesperson said, “What began as the dream of two theatre-loving teenagers has blossomed into one of Bermuda’s most beloved summer performing arts programmes.

“At just 18 and 19 years old, Myah Bridgewater and Sanzia Pearman founded Actin’ Up! Theatre Camp with a simple but ambitious vision: to create a space where young people could discover the joy, confidence and community that theatre provides. Having grown up performing together and sharing a passion for musical theatre, they wanted to give the next generation of performers the same opportunities that shaped their own lives.

More than a celebration of music and dance, the production is a tribute to imagination, perseverance and the power of believing in yourself.

“From Broadway-inspired choreography and soaring vocals to heartfelt storytelling, Dare to Dream reflects everything Actin’ Up! has stood for since its inception: encouraging young people to dream big, work hard, and shine brightly, both on and off the stage.
