Betschart Siblings Complete Junior World
Bermudian golfers Oliver and Darina Betschart completed their campaigns at the USWING MOJING Junior World Golf Championships in San Diego, California.
Oliver Betschart finished tied for 71st in the boys 15-18 division after recording a three-round total of 12-over-par 228 at Torrey Pines South Course.
He opened with a five-over-par 77, recording one birdie, 11 pars and six bogeys.
Betschart improved by five strokes in the second round, carding an even-par 72 that included three birdies, 12 pars and three bogeys.
He completed the tournament with a seven-over-par 79. His final round included one birdie, 11 pars, four bogeys and two double bogeys.
Darina Betschart finished tied for 56th in the girls 13-14 division, which was contested at the Country Club of Rancho Bernardo.
She began the tournament with a 75, recording one birdie, 14 pars and three bogeys.
Betschart followed with a second-round 78 that included three birdies, 10 pars, three bogeys, one double bogey and one triple bogey.
She closed with an 81, recording three birdies, eight pars, four bogeys, two double bogeys and one triple bogey for a three-round total of 234.
