Carlsberg Ocean View Cup Day Two Results
The Eastern Parishes took the lead over the Western Parishes following the alternate shot format on the second day of the Carlsberg Ocean View Cup.
The tournament had entered the day deadlocked after an opening-day stalemate.
The Western Parishes won the first match of the afternoon when Camiko Smith and Dennis Joell defeated the East’s Damon Smith and Vincent Minors. The West doubled its advantage in the next match as Jonathan James and Aaron Adams defeated the Eastern pairing of Leroy Robinson and Kennedy Nanette.
The Eastern Parishes responded when Ebonie Cox and Kavon Trott defeated Marcelos Thomas and Donovan Livingston. The East then tied the overall match score at 5-5 after Samuel Robinson and George O’Brien Jr. defeated Ajunte Tuzo and Steven Almeida.
The penultimate match of the day ended in a draw between the East’s Calvin Richardson and Phil Talbot and the West’s Henry Ascento and Oscar Riley, making the overall score 5.5 to 5.5.
The Eastern Parishes secured the single-point lead in the final match on the course, where Darriek Douglas and Sinclair Trott defeated the West’s Nick Jones and Alan Lugo.
