Bermuda cricket action over the weekend saw Cleveland County and Bailey’s Bay secure victories in their respective division matches.

Premier Division

Bailey’s Bay 203 Willow Cuts 129

Bailey’s Bay won the toss, elected to bat first, and recovered from an early collapse to post a total of 203. The innings was stabilized by a seventh-wicket partnership of 82 runs, featuring a 74-ball innings of 54 before a run-out occurred, alongside a contribution of 32. For Willow Cuts, Kamal Bashir led the bowling attack, taking three wickets for 17 runs across seven overs.

In response, Willow Cuts was dismissed for 129, resulting in a 74-run victory for Bailey’s Bay. Bashir top-scored for Willow Cuts with 26 runs. The Bailey’s Bay bowling effort was led by Lashaune Weir, who claimed four wickets for 45 runs in his 10 overs.

First Division

Cleveland County 248 PHC 210/7

At Lord’s in St. David’s, Cleveland County won the toss, elected to bat, and reached a total of 248.
