Express Defeat Cameron Jeffers & Bristol

Bermudian cricketer Cameron Jeffers contributed with both bat and ball for Bristol West Indian Phoenix CC 2nd XI, but his side suffered a five-wicket defeat against Pakistani Express CC in a Bristol and District Cricket Association Second Division match at The Rose Green Centre in the UK.

After winning the toss and choosing to bat, Bristol West Indian Phoenix scored 168 runs before being bowled out. Opening batsman Otis Lemon top-scored for the team with 40 runs, while Jeffers made 12 runs from the middle order. Pakistani Express bowler Junaid Khan took four wickets for 25 runs from his eight overs.

In reply, Pakistani Express reached the winning target of 169 for the loss of five wickets. Syed Mazhar Hussain Shah top-scored for the hosts with 35 runs. Jeffers, an international off-spinner for Bermuda, led the Bristol West Indian Phoenix bowling attack, taking two wickets for 30 runs from his eight-over spell.
