Tennis: Trey Mallory Advances In Monastir
Bermudian tennis player Trey Mallory advanced to the second qualifying round of the M15 Monastir tournament after defeating Skander Nsairi of Tunisia in straight sets.
Mallory won the ITF World Tennis Tour qualifying match 7-6[3], 6-1 on the outdoor hard courts in Monastir, Tunisia.
Mallory edged the opening set in a tie-break before taking control in the second set, dropping just one game to complete the victory.
The win moved Mallory into the second round of the qualifying draw as he sought a place in the main singles bracket.
