[Updated with photos] The 2026 Bermuda Triangle Cup got underway at the Flora Duffy South Field Stadium, with the opening double-header producing a draw and a one-goal victory.
FuturePro 2, Bermuda U17 National Academy 2
The opening fixture saw the Bermuda Under-17 National Academy and FuturePro share the points following a 2–2 draw.
Stephen Astwood scored both goals for the Bermuda Under-17 side, with Xion Smith and Sakari Lewis finding the net for FuturePro.
Sao Miguel 1, Dandy Town Hornets 2
Dandy Town Hornets claimed the first victory of the tournament after defeating Sao Miguel 2–1 in the second match of the evening.
In the second match, Tokia Bean struck twice to lead Dandy Town to victory, while Vasco Teles scored São Miguel’s lone goal.
