Bermuda Junior Golfers Compete In Miami
Junior golfers Lewis MacFarlane and Bradford Laing competed at the Optimist International Junior Golf Championship at Trump National Doral in Miami, Florida.
MacFarlane finished fourth in the boys 12-13 division. He opened with a 3-over-par 75, recording three birdies and ten pars, before carding his best round of the tournament with a 1-over-par 73, which included three birdies and eleven pars. He closed with an 11-over-par 83, recording ten pars during his final round.
Laing placed 14th in the boys 10-11 division, finishing the three-round tournament at 37-over par. He began with a 10-over-par 81, which included one birdie and ten pars, before recording a 16-over-par 87 in the second round. Laing completed the tournament with an 11-over-par 82, recording two birdies and seven pars.
