Lane Closure On Cemetery Road From July 2–6
The Ministry of Public Works and Environment has advised motorists of a temporary lane closure on Cemetery Road in Pembroke from July 2 to July 6 to accommodate emergency BELCO works.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works and Environment advises the motoring public of a lane closure on Cemetery Road in Pembroke Parish to accommodate emergency BELCO works.
“The lane closure will be in effect from Thursday, 2 July 2026 through Monday, 6 July 2026, with works taking place between 7:30 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. daily.
“The closure will span from Gorham’s Gate through to North Power Station Gate at Cemetery Lane. Traffic control will be managed by BELCO representatives.
“Motorists are advised to avoid the area where possible and use alternative routes via St. John’s Road and Serpentine Road.
“The Ministry thanks the public for its cooperation and apologises for any inconvenience caused.”
