Athene Scholarship Applications Close July 31
Applications for the Athene Bermuda College Scholarship, which covers the full cost of an associate degree programme, will close on July 31.
A spokesperson said, “Applications for the Athene Bermuda College Scholarship close July 31. The scholarship covers the full cost of an associate degree program, including books and other essential expenses.
“Scholarships are awarded to students who demonstrate academic excellence and financial need. To qualify, applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 and be Bermudian or hold a Permanent Resident’s Certificate status. They must also be enrolled full time in an associate degree program related to insurance or international business.”

“This year, five scholarships are available for high school students, college students and working professionals who are building their path toward careers in Bermuda’s insurance and international business sectors,” said Natasha Scotland Courcy, CEO and General Counsel of Athene Life Re.
“The Athene Bermuda College Scholarship helps students pursue degrees that can lead to career opportunities in key sectors of Bermuda’s economy,” said Dr. David Sam, President of Bermuda College. “We are grateful for Athene’s continued partnership and investment into our students.”
The spokesperson said, “Athene has supported Bermuda College for several years through scholarships, student development initiatives and investments in modern learning environments. In 2022, the Athene Lecture Theatre and the Athene Career Development Centre opened at Bermuda College. Athene also helped fund state-of-the-art campus technology to enhance learning spaces.
