Single Lane Closure In Hamilton Parish
A single lane closure is in effect on Harrington Sound Road, just west of Paynters Road in Hamilton Parish through July 14 to accommodate pipe repair works.
A Government spokesperson said, “The Ministry of Public Works advises the motoring public that there will be a single-lane closure on Harrington Sound Road, just west of Paynters Road in Hamilton Parish, from Monday, July 13, 2026, through Tuesday, July 14, 2026. Working hours will be between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. daily.
“The lane closure is necessary to accommodate pipe repair works.
“Traffic control will be managed by representatives from Island Construction Services. Motorists are advised to avoid the area and use alternative routes via North Shore Road, Middle Road, Knapton Hill, and South Road. Those travelling through the closure area should expect delays and are encouraged to exercise caution.”
