Mallory Competes In Tennis Event In Tunisia
Bermudian tennis player Trey Mallory won the first set but was edged in three sets by Valentin Lapalu of France in the opening round of the M15 Monastir tournament in Tunisia.
The match was played in the round of 32 at the Magic Hotel Tours by FTT event, part of the ITF Men’s World Tennis Tour in Monastir.
Mallory won the opening set 6-4 before Lapalu responded by taking the second set 7-6 [7-1]. Lapalu then won the deciding set 6-2 to complete a 4-6, 7-6 [7-1], 6-2 victory and advance to the round of 16.
