Photo Set #1: 2026 Bermuda Pride Parade
The 2026 Bermuda Pride Parade was held today [July 4] under the theme “Deep Roots.”
A spokesperson previously said, “The ‘Deep Roots’ theme reflects a commitment to stability, trust, and an unshakeable presence within the island’s culture. It acknowledges that LGBTQ+ Bermudians have always been a part of the social and cultural fabric of the island.
“The impact of the theme is threefold, as it honours the past, present, and future of the LGBTQ+ community in Bermuda. It seeks to honour the quiet courage and efforts of those who came before us, ground the community of today in their identities, and promise a future of growth.
“Taking inspiration from Bermuda’s natural environment, the theme also speaks to resilience, as just like local flora, roots are built to withstand the unique storms that the LGBTQ+ community face. At its core, ‘Deep Roots’ is an invitation for every individual to feel secure in their place in Bermuda.”
