DaRock Academy Continues Spain Tour
Young footballers from the DaRock Elite Academy continued their tour of Spain with a training session at the academy of La Liga side Atlético Madrid.
The players trained at Atlético Madrid’s Centro Deportivo Alcalá de Henares, one of the club’s academy training bases, after previously visiting the Valencia academy and attending Valencia’s game against Celta Vigo.
Danté Leverock, the former Bermuda captain and founder of the DaRock Elite Academy, highlighted the value of the latest experience.
“Another special experience for the boys as we trained at Atlético Madrid’s Centro Deportivo Alcalá de Henares, one of the club’s academy training bases,” Leverock said.
“What an opportunity for our young players to step inside a top-level facility and train with Atlético Madrid academy coaches, experiencing firsthand the standards, intensity, detail, and methodology of another major La Liga club.
“Even our goalkeepers had their own dedicated goalkeeper session with an Atlético Madrid goalkeeper coach, giving them the opportunity to receive position-specific training in an elite environment.
“Every session on this tour has given the boys something different to learn and take back with them.”
Leverock founded DaRock Elite Academy in 2023.
