DaRock Elite Academy Complete Spain Tour
Young footballers from the DaRock Elite Academy have completed a tour of Spain.
The players trained at Atlético Madrid’s Centro Deportivo Alcalá de Henares, one of the club’s academy training bases, after previously visiting the Valencia academy and attending Valencia’s game against Celta Vigo.
They also trained with a Getafe CF Academy coach and visited the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid.
Danté Leverock, a former Bermuda captain and founder of the DaRock Elite Academy, said: “What a way to finish our Spain Tour.
“The boys started the day with a training session led by a Getafe CF Academy coach, using the session as preparation for our final match.
“Then it was game time and the boys produced a great ball-playing performance, showing confidence, commitment, and some of the lessons they’ve taken from the different Spanish coaches throughout the tour.
“To finish the football experience with a win and smiles on their faces was a special moment.
“We then headed to the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid, for our final stadium tour and one last unforgettable experience in Spanish football.
“What a way to close out an incredible journey.
“A huge thank you to our sponsors and partners who helped make this opportunity possible for our DaRock Elite Academy players.
“These are experiences and memories the boys will carry with them long after they return home.”
