Bermuda Swimmers Set For Junior Pan Pacifics
Five Bermuda swimmers are set to represent the island at the 2026 Junior Pan Pacific Championships in Vancouver, British Columbia, which will be held from August 17 to 20.
The Bermuda Amateur Swimming Association announced that Connor Hupman, Logan Jones, Noah Maranzana, Teagan Mewett and Katherine Wheddon will represent the island.
Hupman is entered in six events: the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 50m backstroke, 100m backstroke and 200m backstroke.
Jones is listed for four events: the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle and 100m butterfly and Maranzana is also entered in four events: the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 50m breaststroke and 50m butterfly.
Mewett will compete in three breaststroke events: the 50m, 100m and 200m, while Wheddon is listed for five events: the 50m freestyle, 100m freestyle, 200m freestyle, 400m freestyle and 50m butterfly.
According to the August 10 entry list, swimmers are set to represent nations and territories including Argentina, Australia, Bermuda Brazil, Canada, Micronesia, Japan, Mexico, New Zealand, Saint Lucia, Sierra Leone, Singapore and the United States.
