Bermuda Swimmers Continue Pan Pacifics
Bermuda swimmers Jack Harvey, Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore continued competing at the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Irvine, California, on Thursday.
Jack Harvey finished sixth in the men’s 50 metres backstroke A final, recording a time of 25.36 seconds. He had earlier placed eleventh overall in the preliminary heats in 25.20, advancing to the A final under the championship’s qualification rules.
Quintin McCarty of the United States won the final in 24.51, followed by Australia’s Isaac Cooper in 24.59 and American Will Modglin in 24.66.
Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore competed in the women’s 50 metres backstroke heats. Emma Harvey finished nineteenth overall in 29.27 and was listed as the second reserve for the finals, while Moore placed twenty-third in 29.74.
