Aon Supports DailyMale With $10,000 Donation
Aon Insurance Bermuda presented a cheque for $10,000 to the DailyMale charity to assist in the purchase of screening kits and the running costs of the charities mobile screening clinic.
A spokesperson said, “DailyMale originally targeted the male community on island to improve early detection rates of prostate cancer. The mobile clinic is now providing health screening across the island to both men and women, bridging the existing inequality gaps in access to healthcare.
“Presenting the cheque to Dr Jonathan Makanjuola Executive Director of DailyMale and Consultant Urologist at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital is Richard Tomkins Managing Director of Aon Reinsurance Solutions.
“Richard is the beneficiary of early-stage screening for prostate cancer, where he was diagnosed with early-stage cancer and is now completely cured.”
Richard Tomkins has said, “Since my diagnosis, I have become somewhat of a preacher about the importance of early screening by your medical professional.”
