Aeziah Divine On Silverstone Races
Motorcycle racer Aeziah Divine has reflected on round five of the RG Moto4 British Superbike Cup at Silverstone, Northampton, at the weekend.
Representing Fibre Tec Honda-MLav Racing, Divine finished thirteenth in qualifying before placing eleventh in race one.
He crashed in race two and did not finish.
“A roller coaster sort of weekend at Silverstone was wrapped up today with another strong step made and lots of positives to walk away with despite some hiccups,” Divine said.
“Some recent bad luck struck again with another tricky race this morning. I pushed hard to stay with the leading group and was able to have some great battles within it for the first half of the race.
“Unfortunately, coming into one of the hard braking corners l started to have a lot of chatter and tucked the front. Sadly. I couldn’t save it and took a good friend out with me. Really sorry you got caught up in that, Henry.
“Despite the challenges, there are positives to take away including working my way up to P11 from P23 in race one, then running well in the leading group for the first time in race two.”
