Video: Bermuda’s U14 Team Defeat Martinique
[Updated with video] Bermuda’s Under-14 boys football team will continue competing in the 2026 Caribbean Football Union [CFU] Challenge Series, matching up against Martinique today [August 18] in the Dominican Republic, and you can tune in and watch the live stream below.
The young Gombey Warriors are competing in Tier I Group A alongside Barbados, Martinique and hosts Dominican Republic. The Bermuda Football Association had previously announced the team as: Goalkeepers: Tayte Browne, Henrik McIntosh | Defenders: Psalm Caines, Kyron Bryan, Caden Burgess, Vashon Martin, Amori Simons | Midfielders: Adam Barritt – Captain, Jace Postlethwaite, Roman Gaglio, Gebre Vickers, Quinn Farmsworth, Mackay Browne | Forwards: Shiloh Stevens, Asa Trew Smith, Cairo Burgess, Remi Furbert, and A’daj O’Brien.
Update: Following a 1-1 draw with Barbados on the opening day, Bermuda’s Under-14 boys recorded a 2-0 victory over Martinique in the 2026 CFU Under-14 Challenge Series today.
The match report said, “Bermuda secured a 2-0 victory over Martinique in Tier I Group A after two goals in the space of just one minute turned a tightly contested match in their favor. After a goalless first half, Adam Barritt broke the deadlock in the 63rd minute. Vashon Martin followed almost immediately, doubling Bermuda’s advantage in the 64th minute. Martinique couldn’t respond as Bermuda comfortably protected their lead to claim all three points.”
