Rangers Claim Win In Western Counties
Southampton Rangers beat Willow Cuts by 202 runs in the final round of the Western Counties Cricket Series at White Hill Field yesterday [August 22].
Rangers posted 259 for nine from their 40 overs after choosing to bat, with Dalin Richardson and Oronde Bascome scoring half-centuries.
Richardson made 69 from 59 balls, hitting five fours and three sixes, while Bascome scored 53 from 55 deliveries.
Chakote Basden was Willow Cuts’ leading bowler with two for 19 from three overs.
Willow Cuts were bowled out for 57 in reply, with Derrick Brangman taking five for seven from 7.5 overs.
Shaquille Bean top-scored for Willow Cuts with 14.
