Bermuda Motors Introduces Kia PV5 Cargo
Bermuda Motors has introduced the all-electric Kia PV5 Cargo to the island, offering “a new practical and modern commercial vehicle option.”
A spokesperson said, “Bermuda Motors is introducing the new all-electric Kia PV5 Cargo to Bermuda, bringing local businesses a new practical and modern commercial vehicle option.
“Designed from the outset as an electric vehicle, the PV5 combines a spacious and practical cargo area with modern EV technology.
“For Bermuda Motors General Sales Manager Sebastien Cornet, its arrival is particularly exciting because it brings the backing of an established global automotive manufacturer to the electric commercial vehicle market.”

Mr. Cornet said, “We are very excited to offer the PV5 in Bermuda, particularly from an established OEM such as Kia, which has built a solid reputation both locally and internationally.
“For businesses, reliability, manufacturer support and long-term confidence are extremely important. Kia is a brand Bermudians already know, and the PV5 allows us to bring that confidence into the commercial EV market.”
The spokesperson said, “The PV5 has already received significant international recognition, including being named 2026 International Van of the Year, as well as receiving Red Dot and iF Design awards.
“The long-range PV5 Cargo is equipped with a 71.2 kWh battery, offering an official WLTP driving range of up to approximately 416 kilometres, or 258 miles, on a full charge.”
Mr. Cornet said, “That battery capacity is substantial compared with the distances our businesses typically travel each day, which makes the PV5 particularly well suited to Bermuda.”
The spokesperson said, “For Sebastien, however, the appeal goes beyond simply being electric.
Mr. Cornet said, “Electric vehicles have to make sense for the customer and for the job they need to do. The PV5 starts with being a very practical van. The fact that it is electric, has excellent battery capacity and comes from a manufacturer with Kia’s reputation makes the proposition even stronger.”
The spokesperson said, “Kia Sales Representative Shaun Sealey is also excited to see Bermuda Motors’ EV offering expand to commercial customers.”
Ms. Sealey said, “It’s great that we can now offer our commercial customers an electric option as well. The PV5 gives businesses the practicality and cargo space they need, while also giving them the opportunity to move to electric.”
The spokesperson said, “The Kia PV5 Cargo is now on display at Bermuda Motors.”
