Conduit Re Appoints Anthony Mongiello
Conduit Holdings has appointed Anthony Mongiello as Chief Operating Officer of Bermuda-based reinsurance business Conduit Re, succeeding Stuart Quinlan following his retirement earlier this year.
A spokesperson said, “Conduit Holdings, the ultimate parent company of Conduit Re, a Bermuda-based multi-line reinsurance business, is pleased to announce the appointment of Anthony Mongiello as Chief Operating Officer [COO] with immediate effect. His appointment follows the retirement of Stuart Quinlan earlier this year.
“Anthony brings more than 25 years of experience across the insurance, reinsurance and wider financial services sectors, with a proven track record of creating and leading efficient and high performing operations. In his role as COO, Anthony will be responsible for Conduit’s Operations, Information Technology, Underwriting Operations and Claims functions, and will be a member of the Executive Committee.
“Anthony joins Conduit from Aspen, where he most recently served as Chief Operating Officer for Aspen’s Reinsurance and Capital Markets businesses. He also spent more than 15 years at AXA XL where he held roles of increasing responsibility, including the Global Head of Operations for the reinsurance business.”
