Explorers Defeat Adam Hall & Winnipeg Goldeyes
Bermudian baseball player Adam Hall singled, stole a base and scored a run as the Winnipeg Goldeyes lost 4-3 to the Sioux City Explorers at Blue Cross Park on Friday.
Sioux City scored three runs in the first inning and added another in the fourth to take a 4-0 lead.
Hall started Winnipeg’s response with a fourth-inning single before stealing second and scoring on Noah Marcelo’s RBI single. The Goldeyes added two runs in the fifth but were unable to complete the comeback.
The defeat ended Winnipeg’s franchise-record 12-game home winning streak. The series continues Saturday at 6.00pm.
