Jake Brislane Finishes 12th In 3000M In London
Bermudian runner Jake Brislane finished 12th in the men’s 3,000 metres at the British Milers Club Record Breaker meeting at Tooting Bec Athletics Track in London.
Brislane, who is listed by the BMC with Tonbridge, Warwick University and Bermuda, clocked a time of 8 minutes 17.67 seconds in the race.
George Couttie took the victory in 7:50.41, finishing just ahead of Jack Kavanagh, who clocked 7:50.67, while American Kasey Knevelbaard placed third in 7:51.50.
Brislane crossed the line in 12th place, finishing just 0.14 seconds ahead of Sam Knee-Robinson, who was 13th in 8:17.81.
