MOM Bermuda To Host Motorcade

August 5, 2026 | 1 Comment

A motorcade will take place on Saturday [August 8] for the seventh consecutive year to honour those who have lost their lives to violence in the community.

The event is organised by Mom Bermuda — a group of women directly affected by violence and “dedicated to bringing peace within the community.”

The procession will begin and end at CedarBridge Academy, starting at 10am.

Vehicle decoration begins at 9am, with the route travelling through South Shore, Dockyard, Court Street, Black Watch Pass, North Shore, and St George’s.

Nicole Fox co-founded Mom Bermuda in 2020 with Marilyn Outerbridge — who has since passed away — after both lost their sons to violence in 2013.

Ms Fox, whose son Ricco Furbert and stepson Clark Fox lost their lives to violence, said she hopes the island comes out to support the event.
