Six Athletes Earn Top-25 Triathlon Finishes
Six Bermuda triathletes recorded top-25 finishes at the 2026 USA Triathlon Youth and Junior National Championships at Voice of America Park in West Chester, Ohio.
The event featured youth and junior draft-legal races, with Bermuda represented by Gianluca Bortoli, Elena Bortoli, Sofia Leclerc, Riana Robinson, Rory Shepherd and Rohan Roopra.
Gianluca Bortoli placed 23rd in the Junior Draft-Legal Male 16-19 race.
In the Youth Draft-Legal Female 13-15 event, Elena Bortoli finished 18th, Sofia Leclerc placed 20th and Riana Robinson finished 25th.
Rory Shepherd produced Bermuda’s highest placing of the event, finishing ninth in the Youth Draft-Legal Male 13-15 race, while Rohan Roopra placed 18th.
