A spokesperson said, “Team Hayward is inviting families and members of the wider community to come together for a Back to School Community Event at CedarBridge Academy on Sunday, August 30, from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“The event will provide an opportunity for families to enjoy an afternoon of community, connection and fun ahead of the start of the new school year. Attendees can look forward to complimentary food and refreshments, games, activities and special surprises throughout the evening.
“As students and families prepare to return to school, the event is intended to create a positive and uplifting space where the community can come together, reconnect and celebrate Bermuda’s young people.”
Mr Jason Hayward said, “Back to school is an important time for our young people and their families. We wanted to create an opportunity for the community to come together, enjoy themselves and send our students into the new school year surrounded by encouragement and positive energy.
“Our young people deserve to know that their community is behind them, believes in them and wants to see them succeed. I encourage families from across Bermuda to come out and join us.”
The spokesperson said, “The event is open to the entire community, and families are encouraged to attend and enjoy the afternoon together.
