Tom Ault Appointed L&G Reinsurance CEO
L&G Reinsurance has appointed Tom Ault as Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Amy Ellison, who moves into a new role as Chief Internal Auditor for Legal & General.
A spokesperson said, “A new chapter for L&G Reinsurance. On 1 August, we welcomed Tom Ault as Chief Executive Officer.
“Tom joined the business in 2019 as Chief Business Development Officer and has played a key role in our growth, leading external reinsurance activity, developing strategic client relationships and supporting new market initiatives. His appointment reflects L&G Reinsurance’s continued momentum and strategic importance within Legal & General.
“Tom succeeds Amy Ellison, who has led L&G Reinsurance as CEO since 2021 and is now stepping into the role of Chief Internal Auditor for L&G. Under Amy’s leadership, the business has continued to grow and strengthen its position in the market.
