Trio Compete At Pan Pacific Championships

Bermuda swimmers Jack Harvey, Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore began competing at the 2026 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships in Irvine, California.

Jack Harvey finished eighth in the men’s 100 metres backstroke A final. He recorded a time of 54.51 seconds to finish ninth overall in the preliminary heats and qualify for the A final and then returned for the evening session and completed the final in 55.16 to place eighth.

Emma Harvey and Madelyn Moore competed in the women’s 50 metres butterfly, recording times of 26.91 and 28.27 respectively during the preliminary heats.

Emma Harvey finished 15th overall to advance to the B final, while Moore placed 17th and was named the first reserve. Harvey improved her time to 26.83 in the evening session, finishing sixth in the B final.

Emma Harvey also competed in the women’s 100 metres backstroke, finishing 28th overall in a time of 1:03.13.

The championships continue through Saturday.
