Trott And Cardiff Advance In Carabao Cup
Bermudian goalkeeper Nathan Trott and his Cardiff City team-mates began their competitive campaign with a 3-2 victory over Swindon Town in the first round of the Carabao Cup at the Cardiff City Stadium.
Swindon took an early lead through Louis Millard, whose effort took a deflection off Gabriel Osho before finding the net. Yousef Salech equalised from the penalty spot before scoring his second goal with a volley shortly before half-time.
Paul Glatzel brought Swindon level after the break, but substitute Jack Moylan scored the winner on his Cardiff debut after being introduced in the 71st minute.
Trott played the full match as Cardiff secured their place in the second round of the competition.
