Amaris Munya Helps Montverde Finish 13th
Bermudian runner Amaris Munya helped Montverde Academy’s girls cross-country team place 13th at the season-opening Florida Horse Park Invitational in Ocala.
The girls’ competition featured 49 teams, with Montverde producing a strong collective showing to finish 13th in the standings.
Munya was the Eagles’ second finisher, placing 50th overall after completing the 5,000-metre course in 20 minutes and 17.0 seconds.
Lyla McMillen led Montverde in 32nd place with a time of 19:56.5.
