Archives Section To Provide Limited Services
The Ministry for the Cabinet Office advised that the Archives Section, located in the Government Administration Building, will “provide limited services” from September 28 to October 9, 2026.
A Government spokesperson said, “During this period, all enquiries and requests for records must be submitted by phone at 2977737 or by email at archives@gov.bm. Responses will be provided within 24 hours.
“There will be no walk-in service or retrieval of records for general research during this period.
“These temporary service changes will allow Archives staff to conduct a full audit of the collection and reorder shelving and the location of records.
“The Ministry for the Cabinet Office apologises for any inconvenience and thanks the public for their cooperation during this period.”
