Bermuda Golfers Continue In Myrtle Beach Event
Ann Symonds is third and David Abraham is tied for fifth in their respective divisions after the third round of the Myrtle Beach World Amateur Handicap Championship in South Carolina.
Symonds recorded a gross 86 and net 80 in Flight 53 of the Women 59 and Under division. She has a three-round net total of 226, four strokes behind joint leaders Beth Anne Aheron and Meg Watt.
Fellow Bermudian Angela Cook shot a gross 89 and net 79, improving to tenth with a cumulative net score of 240.
In Flight 22 of the Mid Senior Men 60-69 division, Abraham carded a gross 89 and net 83 to share fifth place on 233.

Richard Marriott produced the lowest gross round among the Bermudian contingent, shooting a four-over-par 76 in Flight 9 of the Senior Men 50-59 division. His net 74 lifted him into a tie for 34th on 242.
Tracy Burgess shot 91 in the Women’s Gross division and is eleventh with a three-round total of 252, while Ann Mitchell recorded a gross 91 and net 82 to share 21st in Flight 55 of the Senior Women 60 and Above division.
Gary Venning posted a gross 92 and net 82 in Flight 44 of the Super Senior Men 70-79 division, placing him tied for 35th with a cumulative net score of 257.
