DeShield-Tankard & Eve Help Thomas Win
Bermudians Adio DeShield-Tankard and Chance Eve made contributions as Thomas College recorded a 6-0 victory over Vermont State University Lyndon in North Atlantic Conference football action.
Eve provided the assist for Thomas College’s second goal in the 33rd minute, finding Serafin Garcia, who scored to give the Terriers a 2-0 advantage heading into the interval.
DeShield-Tankard added his name to the scoresheet in the 60th minute, converting a penalty to extend the lead to 3-0.
Thomas added three further goals in the second half to complete the 6-0 victory, with Gabriel Dominicci scoring before Jose Andrade struck twice in the closing stages. The victory improved Thomas College to 4-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play at the conclusion of the match.
