KEMH Traffic Closure Set For Wednesday
Bermuda Hospitals Board has postponed a planned road closure on the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital campus from Tuesday [September 22] to Wednesday [September 23] to facilitate delivery of materials for internal upgrade works.
A spokesperson said, “The road closure slated for Tuesday 22 September has been postponed to Wednesday 23 September. Bermuda Hospitals Board [BHB] advises the public that there will be no through road access on the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital campus between Point Finger and Berry Hill roads from 7am to 2:30pm on Wednesday 23 September 2026.
“The closure is necessary to facilitate the delivery of materials for internal upgrade works in the Imaging Services Department.
“Vehicular access from Point Finger Road will end at the Acute Care Wing visitor parking lot and ambulance bay areas.
“Vehicular access via the Berry Hill Road entrance will end at the General Wing entrance.
“The areas will be cordoned off. Please observe erected barriers and directions from personnel onsite.
“BHB apologise for any inconvenience this may cause the public.”
