Traffic And Pedestrian Diversions At Hospital

March 19, 2015

There will be vehicular and pedestrian diversions on the King Edward VII Memorial Hospital campus on Monday [March 23] due to sensitive medical equipment being removed from the hospital building.

A Bermuda Hospitals Board spokesperson said, “The public is advised to use the main entrance in the Acute Care Wing [ACW] on Point Finger Road. Access to the entire hospital is possible through this entrance and volunteers will be on hand to direct, and where necessary, wheel people to their appointments.

“Anyone planning to access the building via the former Emergency Department entrance is advised that it will be completely blocked from 7:30am – 2pm as sensitive medical equipment is removed from the building.

“Anyone requiring further information can call BHB Public Relations on 747-1006 or email public.realtions@bhb.bm.”
