Naz Farrow To Retire As CG CEO On Dec 31st
CG’s Naz Farrow will retire as Coralisle Group’s Chief Executive Officer effective December 31st, the Group’s Board of Directors announced today.
A spokesperson said, “Yan Leclerc, CG Group Chief Financial Officer and Executive Director, has been appointed CEO-designate, pending regulatory approval, to succeed Ms. Farrow on January 1st, 2027.
“CG Board Chairman Dr. Grant Gibbons expressed the Group’s sincere gratitude to Ms. Farrow for her decades of service to the Company, particularly during her tenure as CEO which CG expanded its presence across the Caribbean, rebranded the Group’s identity and operations under the CG trade name, and embedded its people-first service philosophy throughout the organisation.”
“Naz has been at the centre of our success over the past decade,” Dr. Gibbons said. “While our performance is the result of across-the-board commitment to service by the entire CG team, Naz carried the flag and the results speak for themselves.”
Prior to her appointment as CEO in 2017, Ms. Farrow was the Chief Operating Officer of the Group’s health insurance business.
“It has been an absolute privilege to be part of CG for the past 30 years,” said Ms. Farrow. “At its core, CG has always been dedicated to providing clients with the support and service they need, when they need it most. Throughout its history, the company has played a leading role in delivering innovative insurance solutions and raising service standards across the Caribbean insurance industry.
“I am deeply proud of what we have achieved together and of the strong foundation we have built for the Group’s future. Our people-first approach, supported by the commitment of our Board and employees, has enabled us to remain focused on our clients, navigate challenges such as the pandemic, and make a meaningful difference in our communities through initiatives like CG Pharmacy, which helps make prescription medications more affordable.
“My time with CG has been both demanding and immensely rewarding. As I prepare for retirement, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to my colleagues, past and present. Their dedication, professionalism, and passion have been instrumental to our success. It has been a privilege to work alongside such an exceptional team, and I am confident that CG’s future is bright.”
The spokesperson said, “In addition to his role as Group Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Leclerc serves on the Coralisle Group Board as an Executive Director. He has more than 20-years’ experience in the insurance and reinsurance industry and has played a key leadership role in The Group’s growth and transformation since joining the Company in 2020.
“Dr. Gibbons expressed the Board’s complete confidence in Mr. Leclerc as the natural successor and in his ability to lead the Group through its next phase of growth and success.”
“Naz and Yan will continue to work closely in the coming months to maintain strategic priorities and ensure a smooth transition,” Dr. Gibbons said. “The outlook for CG is positive in all areas of operation, and we look forward to supporting Yan as he prepares to lead the Group into its next chapter.”
