Golf: Petronzio Leads After Opening Round
Nathan Petronzio shot a 67 to take a one-stroke lead after the opening round of the Goslings Bermuda Open at Port Royal Golf Course.
The American professional carded six birdies, one bogey and 11 pars for a four-under-par total.
Amateur Virgilio Paz was second after a 68. He made five birdies and two bogeys to finish three under par.
Fellow amateur John Tandberg was third with a 69. He recorded four birdies, two bogeys and 12 pars.
Professionals Benjamin Martin and Peter Bradbeer and Sebert Walker were tied for fourth at 70, three shots behind Petronzio, after each finished one under par.
The second round begins today.
