Video: DeRoza Scores In 2-0 Win Over Harvard

Bermudian footballer Xahvi DeRoza scored as the University of New Hampshire men’s football team defeated Harvard University 2-0 at Wildcat Stadium on Tuesday [September 15].

The sophomore scored in the 87th minute to double New Hampshire’s advantage, finding the net following an assist from freshman Rayyan Firdawcy.

Miguel Soto Gonzalez had opened the scoring for the Wildcats in the 53rd minute, with Lukas Kuca and Tyson Amoo-Mensah providing the assists.

The victory improved New Hampshire’s record to 5-1-1, with the Wildcats winning their past three matches and remaining unbeaten in their past six.

DeRoza has now recorded two goals and two assists in six appearances this season. His other goal came in New Hampshire’s 6-2 victory over New Haven on September 8.

The Wildcats will next travel to face Portland on Saturday [September 19].
