Artex Appoint Michael Kenny & Andrew Hanley
Artex Capital Solutions has appointed Michael Kenny as Senior Vice President and Andrew Hanley as Assistant Vice President.
A spokesperson said, “ Artex Capital Solutions [ACS], a global leader in insurance-linked securities [ILS], fund administration, and alternative risk solutions, today announced the addition of Michael Kenny as Senior Vice President and Andrew Hanley* as Assistant Vice President, further expanding the firm’s Capital Solutions Advisory capabilities under the leadership of Ben Wright, Managing Director, Artex Capital Solutions.
“Kenny and Hanley will support the continued growth of the Artex Capital Solutions Advisory team, which helps insurers, reinsurers, and alternative capital participants to establish, structure, and optimize reinsurance solutions. The team provides expertise in regulatory authorization, capital planning, operational setup, governance, and customized risk transfer solutions.
“Kenny has over 15 years insurance management experience spanning Dublin and Bermuda overseeing a broad range of reinsurance structures across both life and non-life sectors, including commercial insurers, collateralized vehicles, transformer facilities, and captives.
“Kenny will lead complex client engagements across the reinsurance and alternative capital markets, while Hanley will support advisory projects focused on capital, regulatory, and strategic initiatives. Having transitioned from Artex’s insurance management business, Hanley brings valuable operational expertise and a deep understanding of the needs of insurance and reinsurance clients.
“Together, they will work alongside Artex specialists across Bermuda, the Cayman Islands, and London, combining advisory, actuarial, governance, and operational expertise to help clients navigate complex risk and capital challenges.”
