Bermuda Bowlers Set For World Cup In Germany

Bermuda’s national men’s bowling team will travel to Germany this week to compete in the International Bowling Federation [IBF] World Cup.

LeVinc Samuels, Lamar Richardson, David Maycock and Anthony Hayward will represent the island, accompanied by team manager Steven Riley.

The event will take place at Max Munich Bowling in Brunnthal, near Munich, with the programme running from October 12 to 21.

The Bermudian quartet will compete in singles and team matchplay events. Bermuda is among 48 federations listed for the men’s competition, which has an entry of 192 bowlers.

Official practice and the opening ceremony are scheduled for October 13, followed by the start of men’s singles competition on October 14. The tournament will conclude with the team finals on October 21.
