Court: Man Charged Over 2021 Fatal Collision

A man appeared in Magistrates’ Court charged in connection with the death of a man in a 2021 road collision.
Zaire Jackson Burchall is accused of causing the death of Jahtino Richardson Martin on North Shore Road in Devonshire on November 3, 2021.
Mr Burchall is charged with causing death by driving without due care and attention for other persons using the road and two other offences.
Mr Burchall was not required to a enter plea because the matter is to be heard in Supreme Court.
He was granted bail with a $10,000 surety and was ordered to surrender his passport.
Mr Burchall must also report to Hamilton Police Station twice a week.
He will be fitted with an electronic monitoring device when one becomes available.
Mr Burchall is due to return to court in November.
