The Luscar Place project on Pitts Bay Road achieved a “key construction milestone with the successful installation of the final structural steel element and celebrated its official topping-out of the building.”

The spokesperson said, “The occasion was celebrated alongside construction workers, project partners, Bermuda and U.S. Government representatives, consultants and stakeholders, recognizing the collective effort that has brought Luscar Place to this significant stage. Since breaking ground, the initiative has supported local employment opportunities, engaged numerous Bermudian contractors and suppliers, and generated substantial economic activity across multiple industries.

Lisamarie Masters, Partner and Architect at Botelho Wood Architects, emphasized the effort behind reaching the topping-out milestone.
Mrs. Masters said, “From the first steel placement a year ago, until today, there are over 1,000 structural steel beams and columns erected on this project. This achievement reflects the tireless efforts of planning, coordination and craftsmanship. We are proud of the team whose efforts made this possible.”
The spokesperson said, “The topping-out ceremony served not only as a celebration of progress, but also as an opportunity to recognize the skilled workers, tradespeople and partners whose dedication continues to move the vision forward. Located in West Hamilton, Luscar Place is poised to become an iconic commercial property that will contribute to the continued growth of the Pitts Bay Road corridor.
“The building’s design prioritizes both environmental stewardship and aesthetic distinction, incorporating rooftop solar energy infrastructure alongside thoughtfully designed public communal spaces. Upon completion, visitors, and tenants will be welcomed by world-class exterior and interior contemporary art amidst Luscar Place’s entry way and lobby. Reflecting strong market confidence, more than 50 percent of the building’s available space has already been committed through signed lease agreements, underscoring sustained demand for premium commercial space in Bermuda.
