Photos & Video: Amber’s Wings 5K Walk/Run
Amber’s Wings held its annual 5K Walk/Run this weekend, with all proceeds supporting the charity’s programmes promoting wellbeing, confidence and personal development.
Founder and Executive Director Heidi Michelsen named the charity after her daughter, Amber Rose Bridges, who died following a traffic collision at just 16. She told Bernews the organisation was born out of “profound grief” and has given her family purpose.
Ms Michelsen said approximately 92 people took part and thanked Mailboxes, Atlantic Podiatry and the dedicated volunteers who assisted.
